     An email marketing campaign I designed for Platinum Plumbing Solutions to advertise that they were open for all emergencies over the Easter Long Weekend. The client was not interested in just sending out an 'informational' email, so we included some funny pictures of plumbing disasters to draw interest.You can see the whole campaign here:

    The She’s a Geek story…
    

     
    

    After switching to a Samsung Galaxy S2 earlier in the year, I quickly became known as the girl to go to if you needed to setup your phone or find a cool app.  My friends started to suspect I was a little bit geeky (although I totally denied it!)
    

     
    

    Then after my husband got an android tablet briefly, I decided to switch from my ipad to a Samsung Galaxy Tab.  I’d quckly mastered the setup & the operating system & friends that had had Android devices for a while were amazed… again there were a lot of conversation that went like this “you’re so geeky Ev”
    

     
    

    Then one night after another one of my workmates got a Samsung Galaxy S2 & a friend told her that I was the person to go to for advice on all things tech related which started a little joke that I should put out a monthly newsletter… the conversation quickly eschalated (as most of our conversations do) into a website, podcasts, & all sorts of other wild ideas.  We joked about names & suddenly shesageek was born!
    

    That night I went home & registered the domain shesageek.com.au & built the initial design (again, confirming my geek status).
